That doesn't even look like "the smirk" anymore.

More like a grimace of sadness. Sadness on his last chance to embrace a stuffed bunny as president ?

There's a terrorized out of work actor inside that suit screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

You couldn't pay me enough to wear that suit.

I had fun with the bunny, too.

The hypocrisy at Eschaton concerning Obama Vs Hillary is beyond loathsome.

Every time Obama stubs his toe in an improper fashion, the usual suspects are all over it but when Teh Almighty Clinton is criticised, those same suspects cry "sexist!".

I'd post about this there rather than here, but I'll just probably get labeled a troll.

You know, even though I didn't vote for Bill Clinton either time, I had a lot of respect for Hillary Clinton. I applauded when she called out the "vast right-wing conspiracy" and I had a lot of sympathy for her when Fuckface Bill cheated on her.

Now though, I can't even hear her last name without the gorge rising.

Yeah, it's getting pretty bad, blak. I was never a big fan of HRC, but I thought she was smart, at least, and I was willing to give her a chance. She really lost me with this whole gutter politics shit, more out of disappointment than anything else. I try to stay out of it over at the Big E, but I really, really don't get why some folks are so adamant about defending what is turning out to be some really shitty behavior. I don't think it's sexist to offer valid criticism of her, any more than I think it's racist to offer valid criticism of Barack Obama, and I will defend either of them against bullshit attacks. However, some behavior is, IMHO, indefensible. But, WTFDIK? No sense losing friends over it.

thinly, it seems to me that some at Eschaton have a lot invested(emotionally, at least)in seeing the status quo in the democratic party preserved, and Obama is a threat to that. Also, many are convinced, in a sense, that The Clintons walk on water and can do no wrong.

I am a lurker at E, and have found Oh Noes! so refreshing. I was so saddened today by the uptick in the rhetoric, namely, HRC turning the criticism re: her disortions on Bosnia to Wright.....unfortunately, this is KR ahndbook, and I feel sad she has turned to this in the last month or so. It has led me to the impression of not only , narcissitic personality disorder, but as of today, am wondering if she has a secondary diagnosis of sociopathy. Sorry, I try to understand in a distanced manner when I am very disturbed by the events. Todays' explanation of Bosnia, denail of reality, and turning the tables, and attempting to trash BHO disturbed me. Just sayin.

Most I have ever said in a blog, probably because of the plushies at home.

blak, I don't think they even realize they're defending the status quo.

I've tried to make that point over and over and over and they just don't see it.

Annoying.

Oh well, U guys can feel free to dis her here all U want.

re: my "saddened" remarks. I am not sad regarding the HRC campaign, I am sad regarding what she has done to the Democratic party, and the Progrsseive movement. I am not a particular fan of hers, but would have voted for her had she been the only D candidate. I am furious with her remarks, undertones, her surrogates remarks meant to undermine Obama in the primaries and in the generals. This I find unconscionable (the general election). There is one, and possibly two Supreme Court seats up for grabs in the next election. Give them to Mc Cain, allow him to appoint worse than Roberts, influence the next 20 years so HRC can take it in 2012, possibly? Narcissistic, beyond comprehension.

I am beyond befuddled by her logic, and the last 48 hours have left me feeling she is more than Bush mis-speak, there is something that is Hillarypathy about her. Is this her entitlement for putting up with her husband? I think it goes betond this. Narcissism is rooted in childhood experiences. Not contemporary politics.

Now Hillary is comparing Jeremiah Wright to Don Imus? My God.

Also, James Carville is a has-been whose 15 minutes were up 10 years ago.

zoe, I agree.

I believe she's a text book narcissist. She can't go away soon enough for me.

There's an aspect, too, of being rewarded for what "she's been through" suffering through Bill's affairs all these years, when he was governor and President, tirelessly working for liberal causes (and WalMart) and of course being attacked by the right wing.

But Bill's affairs are a reason to vote against the Clintons, not for them, and although I defended them during impeachment, I wasn't happy about having to do it.

And now she cuddles up to Scaife. Liberals don't owe Hillary Clinton. She owes them. And this is how she says thank you.

I say FUCK HER!!

Now her donors are threatening the DCCC. Guess what? the party doesn't need them if they embrace the netroots.

We can more than make up for that.
