Paladino Calls Senator Gillibrand ‘Schumer’s Little Girl’

(New York Times) -- "Mr. Paladino’s dismissive description of the only woman to hold statewide elected office in New York jolted the political world."

His comments came as Mr. Paladino was campaigning for Ms. Gillibrand’s Republican opponent, Joseph DioGuardi. “It’s time to get some real representation in the New York delegation,” Mr. Paladino said on Thursday, “and you know Joe’s going to do that.”

A spokesman for Ms. Gillibrand declined to comment.
